It’s also Burns Day on Thursday the 25th of January.

This week is Mental Health Awareness week. The Purple Group have achieved their Promoting Health SCQF Level 2 as part of their Personal Achievement Award. They have created these wonderful posters on the 5 Steps to Mental Health. Article 24 The Right to Health, Article 31 The Right to Play and Relax and Article 29 Goals of Education the Right to develop our skills, talents and interests. 

Our young people have been working hard on decorating our whole school RRSA and Values Tree. They have been writing hearts and leaves with Articles important to them and what they enjoy. Goals of Education Article 29. The Right to Play Article 31. The Right to participate and be part of a group Article 15 and so much more. Celebrating International Children’s Day UK and Mental Health Awareness Week Article 24

Celebrating World Earth Day with The Eco Committee. Relevant Articles 6 and 25.

As part of our Improving Wellbeing Award we worked on the 5 Steps to Mental Health.  They are: To Take Notice, Connect, Give, Keep Learning and Be Active. We identified what we currently do and set goals for each of the 5 steps.  We all have the Right to Health Article 24 and that includes Mental Health.  Mental and Physical Health are linked. We made posters using PowerPoint to promote our message and the 5 Steps to Mental Health.

The Blue Group have been working on How to Stay Safe Online. They made brilliant posters using PowerPoint that get their messages across. We decorated the outside of the IT room to get our messages out there.
