The charity was set up in 2017 to support pupils in any way that will enable them to get the most out of their time at school and to take their place in their community.
Through the fundraising efforts of the school community, and the generosity of a number of charitable trusts we’ve been able to run a successful music programme (music therapy; piping and drumming); install the first phase of a sensory room; and support pupils to go on days out.
We want to acknowledge the generosity of The Morrison Foundation (sensory room);
The Robertson Trust, Jessie’s Fund, The Daisy Chain Trust and the Scottish Schools Pipes and Drums Trust who’ve jointly supported the music programme.
Radio Forth’s Cash for Kids helped support pupils to go on trips in summer term 2018.
You can help too, by signing up for Easy Fundraising and selecting Friends of Pilrig Park School as your chosen charity. Each time you shop online, there is the chance of a small contribution to the charity.
